About this Frame TV artwork
A painting of vintage equestrian engraving of a hunter and hounds – a hint of a story without a face to meet the eye, which is what makes figurative art work on a TV.
The vintage-style engraving treatment uses fine hatched line and a restrained, aged palette, without the plate numbers or labels of a real antique print. The medium is vintage plate engraving.
It works well in a bedroom, where the muted tones and low Art Mode brightness keep the TV from glowing at night. If the image looks too bright, the Frame's Art Mode settings let you lower brightness independently of TV mode; a small reduction goes a long way with this palette.
Format: 3840 × 2160 JPEG, 16:9, sRGB – ready to upload through the SmartThings app or a USB stick with no editing. Part of the 1,267-piece Frame TV art bundle.
