About this Frame TV artwork
A holiday scene of folk-art stars and stripes quilt, kept painterly and text-free so it can stay on the TV for the whole season and come back next year.
Gouache gives the design flat, velvety colour and crisp decorative shapes – a matte finish that hides the fact that it is on a screen. The medium is americana folk painting.
It works well in a bedroom, where the muted tones and low Art Mode brightness keep the TV from glowing at night. If the image looks too bright, the Frame's Art Mode settings let you lower brightness independently of TV mode; a small reduction goes a long way with this palette.
Format: 3840 × 2160 JPEG, 16:9, sRGB – ready to upload through the SmartThings app or a USB stick with no editing. Part of the 1,267-piece Frame TV art bundle.
