About this Frame TV artwork

California oak savanna in summer gold is a landscape composed for the wide 16:9 shape of a TV: the horizon sits comfortably inside the safe area and the view opens out to the left and right, the way a real canvas landscape would on a wall.

Soft pastel gives it a powdery, blended surface with gentle transitions and a faint tooth of paper texture throughout. The medium is soft pastel drawing.

It works well in a bedroom, where the muted tones and low Art Mode brightness keep the TV from glowing at night. If the image looks too bright, the Frame's Art Mode settings let you lower brightness independently of TV mode; a small reduction goes a long way with this palette. It belongs to the summer rotation, when coastal light and open skies feel right on the wall.

Format: 3840 × 2160 JPEG, 16:9, sRGB – ready to upload through the SmartThings app or a USB stick with no editing. Part of the 1,267-piece Frame TV art bundle.
