About this Frame TV artwork
Elephant seals on a California beach: a wildlife study with natural anatomy and a quiet setting, placed off-centre so the animal has room on the wide Frame TV format.
Watercolor gives it a lightness that suits bright rooms: thin layered washes, a little bloom in the wet areas and plenty of untouched paper. The medium is loose watercolor.
On a 65" or 75" Frame the texture becomes visible from the sofa, so this is one to display at full size without a matte. Leave the Frame's motion sensor on so the panel dims when the room is empty – it makes the difference between a painting and a screen. It belongs to the summer rotation, when coastal light and open skies feel right on the wall.
Format: 3840 × 2160 JPEG, 16:9, sRGB – ready to upload through the SmartThings app or a USB stick with no editing. Part of the 1,267-piece Frame TV art bundle.
