About this Frame TV artwork
Black woman in a garden of hibiscus: a figurative piece with an anonymous figure, seen from behind or at a distance, so it stays restful on a screen you look at every day.
Painted in opaque gouache, it has the slightly chalky, matte surface of a folk print, with clean shapes and no glossy highlights. The medium is storybook gouache.
On a 65" or 75" Frame the texture becomes visible from the sofa, so this is one to display at full size without a matte. Leave the Frame's motion sensor on so the panel dims when the room is empty – it makes the difference between a painting and a screen.
Format: 3840 × 2160 JPEG, 16:9, sRGB – ready to upload through the SmartThings app or a USB stick with no editing. Part of the 1,267-piece Frame TV art bundle.
