Tonal oil painting
Tonal oil painting · Frame TV art from the still life collection
A still life of easter hot cross buns on a cooling rack, arranged for the 16:9 format and lit gently from one side – the classic recipe for Frame TV art that looks real in a dining room.
It is handled as an oil painting, with visible brushwork, slightly impasto highlights and a subtle canvas weave that becomes apparent at close range on a large Frame. The medium is tonal oil painting.
It pairs well with a warm-white matte on the Frame, which pulls the palette together and hides the panel edge. For the most convincing result set Art Mode brightness two or three notches below the default and the colour tone to warm; the painted surface then looks matte rather than lit. It is one of the Easter designs – painterly rather than pastel-cartoon.
The file is delivered at 3840 × 2160 pixels (4K UHD, 16:9) as an sRGB JPEG – the native resolution of every Samsung Frame from 43" to 85" and a format every 4K TV, Roku and Fire TV accepts. It is included in the 1,267-design Frame TV art bundle.
