About this Frame TV artwork
A painting of valentine elderly couple holding hands on a park bench – a hint of a story without a face to meet the eye, which is what makes figurative art work on a TV.
Watercolor gives it a lightness that suits bright rooms: thin layered washes, a little bloom in the wet areas and plenty of untouched paper. The medium is loose watercolor.
It works well in a bedroom, where the muted tones and low Art Mode brightness keep the TV from glowing at night. For the most convincing result set Art Mode brightness two or three notches below the default and the colour tone to warm; the painted surface then looks matte rather than lit. It is one of the Valentine's designs and, being text-free, works just as well for an anniversary.
Format: 3840 × 2160 JPEG, 16:9, sRGB – ready to upload through the SmartThings app or a USB stick with no editing. Part of the 1,267-piece Frame TV art bundle.
