About this Frame TV artwork
A seascape of santa beside a lighthouse decorated with garlands, kept muted in colour so it reads as a painting rather than a bright screen when Art Mode is on.
The vintage-style engraving treatment uses fine hatched line and a restrained, aged palette, without the plate numbers or labels of a real antique print. The medium is vintage Christmas card illustration.
It pairs well with a warm-white matte on the Frame, which pulls the palette together and hides the panel edge. If the image looks too bright, the Frame's Art Mode settings let you lower brightness independently of TV mode; a small reduction goes a long way with this palette. It belongs to the Christmas set, so it is the kind of piece that goes up after Thanksgiving and can stay through New Year.
The file is delivered at 3840 × 2160 pixels (4K UHD, 16:9) as an sRGB JPEG – the native resolution of every Samsung Frame from 43" to 85" and a format every 4K TV, Roku and Fire TV accepts. It is included in the 1,267-design Frame TV art bundle.
